Description
Sri Lanka is home to many important Ramayana sites mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures. During this journey, you will visit sacred temples and locations believed to be connected to the story of Sita Devi’s stay in Lanka and Lord Rama’s journey.
You will visit famous places like Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Divurumpola Temple, and beautiful natural sites like Ravana Falls.
Itinerary
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and warm welcome by our driver. Travel to Nuwara Eliya through scenic mountains and tea plantations.
Visit Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be the place where Sita Devi was kept during her stay in Lanka.
Then visit Hakgala (Ashok Vatika), believed to be the garden where Sita Devi spent time.
Enjoy cool climate and explore Nuwara Eliya town.
Overnight Stay: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel toward Ella hill country. Visit Ravana Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka, believed to be connected with King Ravana.
Then visit Divurumpola Temple, believed to be the place where Sita Devi proved her purity by fire ordeal.
Enjoy hill country scenery and relax at hotel.
Overnight Stay: Ella / Bandarawela Area
After breakfast, start return journey to Colombo. Enjoy scenic mountain and countryside views along the way.
Optional stops for shopping, sightseeing, or temple visits if time allows.
Drop-off at Colombo hotel or Airport.
